Want to Own a V-NO?

We are looking for Wine Lovers to own and operate a V-NO Wine bar

We offer many benefits to Franchisees including:

  • Site selection assistance
  • Support and training
  • Design and opening assistance
  • Access to wines only available to V-NO, sourced from our Wine Discovery team in Italy
  • Discounts on equipment and supplies
  • Expert support for hiring, training, and operating your V-NO
  • Use of all branding and share in all marketing
  • Benefit from substantial social media following
  • Sommelier training for certification
  • Financial partner references for funding your V-NO

What are we looking for in a V-NO owner?

The most important attribute we look for is a passion for wine and some experience operating a similar business. Ideally, though not required, any potential owner will be a certified Sommelier, willing to be certified or have a Sommelier to join their team.

Financially, while we can provide contacts to assist with Financing options, the Franchisee will be required to secure funding. Typically, though it varies by exact region and location, it takes approximately $200,000 to $250,000 to open a location and ensure sufficient operating capital to support growth until profitability.

What do we look for in a location

Owners pick 3 or 4 locations and the V-NO expert team will review and help guide selection. All V-NO locations must have an outdoor patio with a water view; ideally waterfront. The interior space should be no less than 1,000 square feet and no more than 2,000 square feet. Locations need only a moderate risk food license so the kitchen facility requirements are not difficult to achieve (for example no hood system needed in most areas). A location that was previously a restaurant will decrease start up cost as it will have a bathroom in place and a basic kitchen configuration.

What can an Owner expect in terms of Revenue

We cannot guarantee profitability or any income level as that is largely up to the operators ability to select, market and operate their location. However, our existing owners see annual personal income of $100k to $300k.
