POSITION TITEL: EVENTS MANAGER 

Reports to General Manager/Owner

Ever wanted to build an Event Business with someone else's money? We are seeking an Event Manager to lead the creation of a new business unit within out highly successful waterfront Wine Bar and Cafe. We have 3 waterfront locations in Fells Point for small and medium sized events. Base salary plus a percentage of sales and an opportunity to earn an ownership percentage.

Position is 50% to 75% work from home. Required to be present to show potential clients the available spaces and required to attend the events.

Responsibilities:

· Lead sales, planning and organization of all events

· Work with Operations Manager to coordinate personnel and supplies

· Distribute all meeting information and supplies to attending personnel

· Calculate and propose budgets for planned events or meetings

· Research and identify successful event opportunities
 

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in event planning required

· Strong, proven project managing skills

· Deadline and detail-oriented

· Ability to work well in teams and independently

Compensation

Commensurate with experience. Base salary plus commission and opportunity to earn ownership.
